You have a few options, but these two are the best:

• Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW): This is the biggest airport in Poland with the most international flights. About 145 km, a 2-2.5 hour drive. You'll likely find the best flight options and prices here.

• Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport (LCJ): This airport is closer to Ochraniew (about 60 km, a 1-hour drive). It's smaller, so there are very few direct international flights, but you might get lucky? 

Our Recommendation: For most of you, Warsaw Chopin (WAW) will probably be easiest because of more flight choices. But, if you're flying from Europe, check out Łódź Airport (LCJ). It's literally 25 minutes away and we could pick you up.

• Katowice Airport (KTW): This is another potential option, especially if you're interested in visiting Southern Poland after the wedding. However, it is still around 150 km and 2 hours away from the venue.

A. Renting a Car (Probably easiest):

Renting a car gives you the most freedom to explore and is the easiest way to get to Ochraniew.

• Where to Rent: You'll find all the major car rental companies (Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Sixt, etc.) at both Warsaw and Łódź airports.

• Driving from Warsaw Airport (WAW): It's about a 2-2.5 hour drive. You'll mostly take the S8 expressway. Use Google Maps or Waze for directions to Ochraniew.

• Driving from Łódź Airport (LCJ): This is an easier 1-hour drive. 

• Driving from Katowice Airport (KTW): This will take you around 2 hours.

B. Public Transportation (Michal thinks this is a great option too)

• From Warsaw Airport (WAW):

  • Train: Take a train from the airport to Warsaw Central Station. Then, take another train to Zduńska Wola. We will pick you-up from the train station.

• From Łódź Airport (LCJ):

  • We will pick you up

  • Or rent a car

• From Katowice Airport (KTW):

  • No good public transport options

C. Taxis/Uber/Bolt:

• Uber/Bolt: Possible, from WAW airport for about 1500 PLN for 6 passengers (checked on 29.12.2025 in off peak hours). That's about EUR 350 in total. 

• Taxis are available around the wedding location, but you won't find uber.
